Whether you are looking for a quilt to hang in your office lobby or a quilt for your bed, we create custom quilts to meet our client’s needs. We can adapt existing designs to work with your colors or develop entirely new designs for you. Please call us for pricing of custom colors, sizes and designs. Wall hangings start from $1500, Napping quilts start from $2000 and Queen bed quilts start at $3600.

The following questions and answers should help you understand the process of commissioning a quilt. Please call us if you have additional questions or when you are ready to discuss the specifics of a commission.
What is the lead time for commissions?
Delivery of custom quilts averages 8–12 weeks and will be confirmed at the time of your order.
Do you have any of your quilts in stock?
We occasionally have sample quilts available for sale but otherwise we make each quilt to order.
What are your standard sizes?
Approximate sizes are: Wall hanging 38″ x 46″ or 40” x 40”, Napping 48″ x 72″, Twin 65″ x 90″, Queen 86″ x 92″, King 102″ x 92″. Our standard bed quilt sizes are based on a 10″–13″ drop at the sides and foot of the mattress and vary by design. The exact dimensions of your quilt will be specified in your commission agreement.
I have an antique bed with an unusual mattress size. Can you customize the quilt to fit?
Certainly, custom sizes can be designed and made for an additional cost.
I have a four-poster bed. Can you create a quilt with corner cutouts?
We have done this for some designs. Some lend themselves to such an adaptation better than others. Please call us for details and pricing.
How can I know exactly what I’ll be getting?
We draw up a commission agreement for every order. The agreement clearly states details including the design, size, colors, quilting pattern and thread color, type of batting, backing fabric, delivery date and shipping cost so that you know just what you’ll be getting.
Will my quilt be identical to the one shown?
Each quilt is unique. We keep to the spirit of the original but fabrics go out of print quickly and dye lots vary, so the fabrics and colors may vary from those shown. We offer a swatch approval service if you need to see exact fabrics.
I’ve designed a quilt. Can you make it for me?
We do not execute other people’s designs; all of our designs are original.
Do you design custom quilts?
Absolutely. We have designed and made many custom quilts for bedrooms, public spaces, corporate boardrooms and lobbies. If you are interested in a one-of-a-kind or site-specific quilt, please call us at (708) 445-1817. We charge a design development fee to create illustrations of multiple options based on your needs and budget. If you want to proceed with one of those options, we then draw up a commission agreement and make the quilt.
Are quilts returnable?
Custom quilts are each made to order, so all sales are final.
How can I pay for my commission?
Custom commissions orders must be prepaid. We accept Visa, MasterCard and company or personal checks. All orders delivered to Illinois are charged sales tax.
How do you ship?
Quilts are shipped insured and will require a signature for delivery. The shipping and insurance costs will be added to the cost of the quilt. We use FedEx or UPS for most shipments.
